Any recommendations for a place in Colorado Springs? Would like full hookup for a few days at least

We stayed at Garden of the Gods campground. It was nice with full hookup. Roads are paved but spaces are all gravel, most with concrete pads.

I have to second Mountaindale RV Park. My wife and I have stayed there a few times in the past. If you’re sitting out in the evening or early morning you might even see a mule deer or two in the campground. There is also the possibility of seeing a black bear. FROG used Mountaindale when they held a rally at Colorado Springs in 2013.

Here's a couple of pics taken at Mountaindale.

We stayed at Mountaindale, also. It's absolutely beautiful.

The people were very friendly and laundry facilities were very clean. The bathhouses were all private rooms. It's spacious with an interesting layout that not all sites are stacked on top of each other. The other campers were very friendly to us and welcomed our kids.

We drove through Garden of the Gods campground looking for some friends. Mountaindale is definitely prettier and more spacious. But you can't beat the location of the Garden of the Gods campground. Everything was local to it.

We also drove through Cheyenne State Park as we were looking for a place with cellular service. It was nice, but I didn't think as nice as Mountaindale. And it had cell service. But, it was booked up and we would have had to move for the weekends.

Now, the bad:
  • There is basically no cellular service there. I ended up buying a booster and that helped with voice service, but I still didn't get data.
  • Like most campground wifi, it was fairly slow. But it was pretty stable.
  • The campground is pretty far south and is a HAUL to most attractions. Basically, it adds 30-minutes to most drive times. (Unless you're going south, like to Royal Gorge- then it's great!)

We've used the KOA several times thru the years. Parallel to I-25. Completely adequate.

Mountaindale Rv Resort

We stayed at Mountaindale RV Resort and loved it. We will be back. It is remote so there is no traffic noise. I saw several RV parks in Colorado Springs and most of them looked very crowded and were close to roadways.
