Detroit Michigan to Pomona California

Heading out west this summer. Am I crazy to think I can get from Detroit to Pomona in 6 days? If I did the math correctly I'll have to pull 400 miles a day to make it. What do you all think? Any tips, suggestions, etc.

No problem. 2 weeks ago we went from SW MI to Carpinteria, CA in the same time frame taking the southern route (I40 along Rte 66). With a couple big days thrown in, we were still able to visit the Grand Canyon and such. Have fun.
