Estes Park to Craig, Co

Hello all!! DW and I will be travelling northern Colorado in two weeks. What is the consensus best route from Estes Park to Craig? I am leaning towards routes 34 and 40, but wanted to seek the collective wisdom of the group. I will be pulling a 35 foot V-Lite with a 7.3 Powerstroke 5 speed with a few mods (tuner, cold air, 4" turbo back). Any info appreciated
See you on the road!!!

Hi, I did Estes Park to Steamboat two weeks ago on our maiden voyage. Rt 34 (Trail Ridge Road) was still closed for the season so I went 7, 72, 119 (It is gorgeous back there!) to 70 and then up 9 to 40. Long day, but I did not mind getting used to the truck and trailer.
Trail Ridge road is scheduled to open this weekend and is amazing. Research that route to make sure you are comfortable with the altitude and steep, twisty descent! I would have gone that way had it been open and good weather. Enjoy!
