It looks like the road could be closed for some weeks. They are saying that one lane maybe open Thursday and it could be a 2 hour wait to get through. Right now Drivers are urged to use a detour, the shortest from I 70 is about 140 miles out of their way by taking them north to U.S. 40 and then back south to I-70.

I saw that on the news. They were using explosives to break up the huge rocks to movable size, that is crazy. 140 mile detour can really change someones plans. Hopefully they get it cleaned up sooner than later...
