We Yooped it 2 years ago with our HTT but only went to Munising. Next year, UP and then onto Mt. Rushmore in our Sunseeker!

We were there last week at Mack/Mill Creek. We go every 4th for the past 10 years, but I've been going every year since birth.

Yepper!!! Those things are killer. It's like eating a loaf of bread only it's a cinnamon bun. Food is pretty good there also.

When in the U.P. you must try the world famous Pasty (pass-tee). It's a crusted /meat/potato meal that goes back to the old copper miners days. My favorite place to get them is Roy's Bakery in Houghton on the waterfront close to the bridge. Yumm!

It's no different than going to Mt. Rushmore and driving around the Iron Mt. road or Needles road. DW would just snuggle up to me on those roads.

We cross the bridge at least a couple of times a year with the trailer. Got caught in some bad weather last year on the way home. 40 mph cross wind with the trailer and high wind warning for the bridge posted. We did fine just took it slow in the truck lane.
There is a nice campground near St. Ignace called Castle rock campground. If your lucky you can get one of the sites right on the beach of Lake Huron.

Youroo, we just got back from Ipsheming, Naughanee and Marquette.....again. 3rd time in there in a week. We bring back bags of stuff each time......I need a ..coffee.....We did stop at the Youpers Tourist trap also. When we go out west every 2 years, this is part of our route there and back and always stay at this campground.

On my way back south now. We were in Munising MI and checking out the Pictured Rocks. Beautiful area! However the Porcupine MTNs are in WI!
I definitely want to go back in Aug when the weather is more cooperative!
