First big trip into our new life.

After waiting a year for my wife Joanne to catch up to me in retirement, she finally retired on Friday (first grade will never be the same). This Wednesday we are heading out in our Work and Play 18 EC toy hauler for about 6 or 7 weeks. I packed all of my favorite things, motorcycle, mountain bikes and most important of all, Joanne.

We are heading from Florida with the first destination being Rapid City, SD, to meet some friends. From there our plan is based on people we talk to along the way and input from this forum. There is no set plan and more importantly, no timeline. I have waited a lifetime to travel this way!

This forum has been invaluable over the past months as I quietly read the posts, sometimes literally running out to my camper to see if mine was like that or changing something based on what I have read. I will be looking at the forum daily and posting when I have something of interest.

Thanks for all the help preparing for this trip.
