Question First trip to Lake Whitney State Park

We plan on taking a trip to Lake Whitney SP for father's day weekend 2011. I am looking for some input on the full hookup sites vs the water/electric sites. We have never used full hookup sites so we wont miss it if we don't get them.

What I am looking for is opinions on which sites you recommend and which ones to avoid.
Is the airstrip pretty busy/noisy? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Note: we will be there for four nights...

Thanks,

Been to Lake Whiney several times. Have ONLY been in water and electric NOT full. Sites are okay, watch the length you need, some are TOO SHORT for big rigs. I believe the sites tell you both length and if full sun or shade. Always prefer shade, myself. You'll have a GREAT TIME!
