Fort Wilderness

My Wife and I have 2 Trips planned so far for 2015.. Going to spend 10 Day's in the San Antoino area during the Week of Easter and we also have a Deposit Down at Fort Wilderness in Florida for the Week of Thanksgiving next year. "Planing Ahead" we are Looking to see what Disney does for Christmas. We have been to Fort Wilderness before and would love to be back in the 700 loop again.. But as a question to the group, Does anybody know of a campground in San Antonio that my wife and I would enjoy ?

Cocktails begin at 4...

Thanks.. We've been to that campground a lot over the years.. I jokingly call my wife the Original Disney Princess...14 Disney trips in 32 years of Marriage.. And we live in Wisconsin.. Be the first trip for us to South Texas though.

Www.fortfiends.net, they know everything about the Fort. I'll be there the first week of December next year, I'll be in the 100 or 200 loop with a Fort Fiend sign ~Kristina~ and family.

At Christmas the campground is deck to the hilt from the campers and Disney decorates everything. There's the Osborne Family lights in Hollywood Studios, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (additional cost), Candle Light Processional in Epcot, and the Ft. has horse drawn carriage rides at night (reservation needed). It's amazing! We stayed there over Christmas 2011, amazing!!

To your original question. Check out Admiralty RV Resort. It's right outside Sea World. It isn't downtown San Antonio but not all that far away either.

We stayed at the Jellystone in Canyon Lake. It was a really nice place and very friendly staff. About 30-40 min to downtown SA.
