Ft. Richardson State Park

I thought my trailer's wheels may have forgotten to roll it's been so long but when I pulled it out of the shed the other day to stage it in the driveway they turned just fine. <whew>

Today is my FRIDAY!!! Tomorrow is a whether day (I'm taking off work whether they like it or not ).

The park has an old rock quary that is now a pond and the park is stocking it with rainbow trout as well as bass, catfish, crappie, and perch and having a little fishing compition Saturday morning. I thinkg they probably should have stayed away from the crappie as they like to eat the other baby fishes.......

Of course it's gonna be a might on the chilly side for me and my little ladies (wake up to 24 and 30 at the start of the event at 09:00). My youngest said "Dad, I think I'll just stay in the trailer where it's warm." Little does she know, she's not staying in.

Ft. Richardson just happens to be one of my favorite Texas State Parks and it's only a couple of hours away. Here's a link to the State site in case you may be interested:
