3 times I've tried to post...phone pos! Stay'n put till Wed....got caps on tubes today...tell 'ya later what I did....now about repair shop ..Ford next door lost fan belt, idler froze up . I'll take him into Auto Zone in morn and loan him the tools to repair....2005 1ton with Cummins

Those were better than the IH engines that followed! I know a guy still running one here for a fifth wheel.

To set the record straight, IH just built the engines FoMoCo designed/spec'd & demanded because IH had the capacity.

More info....this Ford now has a 1998 12 valve Cummins...mechanical injection, not electrical as mine is...his you can hop up by changing pump timing.

Hay OC East, atleast he's not paying for CG's, I think him and his white dog had a discussion on that.... OH I forgot the only way your truck makes it up your driveway hill is with Frankie pushing it up behind you....

Will do. Took camping neighbor into town, nobody had in stock what he needs.....he called dealer, don't know if they did, but he said they wanted 325 for an idler! So, because he needs to got around, he rented a car...find out this eve how it went for him.

Ford neighbor good to go.....gf was able to get idler and belt...flue in last night,we installed this morn..,..using de-flappers now, first time, seem to work just fine
