Heading out Wednesday for annual trip. I know it's Arizona in August, lol. Granddaughter's birthday, nuff said!! Looking to do about 500-600mi per day. So far planning to stay at John Bryan S.P. in Yellow Springs, OH, Mark Twain N.F. Lane Spring Rec. Area in Rolla, MO and Lake Thunderbird S.P. in Norman, OK. Any heads up would be appreciated, thanks!
I've camped at John Bryan a couple times with our scout troop (live about 60 miles north). The campground is nice, but only has pit toilets (FYI). If you have time, walk along the gorge and be sure to get ice cream at Young's Dairy!
