Hey Mista, Throw me somethun

We went to the Mardi Gras parade in Gulf Shores, AL today. It was cold (40 degrees) and overcast so everyone was bundled up and it was a great parade. The parade lasted 55 minutes and there were some great floats. Beads, candy, moon pies, and toys were tossed to the crowd. We had a blast.

A couple of the floats.

I don't even want to think about how you got all of those beads...

When I am handing out beads, I usually say....." show me your puppies"...

Actually we caught more than that but Joyce gave all the good toys and stuffed animals to a little boy that was standing next to us. He was one happy camper.

Way too cold for that today. It's was cold during the parade and it's still just 43 degrees as I type this. At least we're away from the cold in St. Louis, Brrrrrr!

It's 39 degrees in Union right now, sun is shining brightly and snow and ice are melting. Predicted to be in the 50's by Friday.

I'm still waiting for an 80 degree beach day down here. I've got a new speedo swimsuit I want to wear.

Just so y'all know, I still have six-pack abs. They are similar to those in the picture below.
