Hot Springs The MRimmer/Aintgotnun Plans

Yep Hot springs will work for us and Little ones will be no problem as we will have two little chit zoos that travel with us. Due to recent events and used vacation time it may be Sept/Oct before we can pull this off. Possibly late August. I will talk more to the boss as she knows we are talking a bout this.

We have always stayed at that KOA and its very clean and friendly. But we are open to other places if you now of a good one.

Understand about the boss. Mine tends to more about the date things then I do. Middle part of August we are taking a 2 week trip through SanAntonio and then to Corpus Christi, late August the girlies start school. Hmmmmmmm. Labor Day weekend maybe? They have the 3rd of Sep off. We could bug out that Friday 31 Aug. Looks like about a 5-6 hour drive, put us there around 9 or 10 pm that night. Or Thanksgiving week? Between those 2 times we need to look up the school holiday's as there may be a teacher inservice in there somewhere. Gonna have to plan something so we don't have to pull them out of school. They love camping but they also love school (hopefully that part will last).

We'll keep looking at dates.

We will work something out and may look earlier

I do know that Thanksgiving dont look good as the wifes family does a local thing for that.

We will look at the calendar in the next few days and see what options we really have here.

Thanks, Mike

Ok Talked to the boss 8-24/8-26

She can't get the 24th cleared (off) until 7-1 But that is our plan. So now where?

If she gets the 24th off we can be there by 2:00 pm on that Friday.

You want to find us the place in that area?

Ok, I'm confused. Soooo Aug 24-26 looks like a go? She can't get it officially cleared until June 1st? Hope I'm reading that right. So pending her getting off ya'll can make it around 2pm Friday the 24th right?

Works for me as we will probably be able to roll in around the same time maybe a scosh earlier. I just need something semi firm so I can upset the boss at work by taking a day off right after taking 2 weeks off

Sounds groovy man!!

Mike
90 and 91?

I would need the longer ones as my rig is 34' nose to tail but most park sites (at least here in Texas) have plenty of room behind the paved "site" for overhang.

Just submitted my req for the 24th off. Should be approved today. I'll keep you posted.

I told them mine was 30 foot and I guessed your's at 36 so that should be good.

Site 90 and 91 on the water or I can call back and ask about the "water view" that are bigger I hear.

Ohhhhh, ok. I'm a little sloooooow today. Sites 90 and 91. I get it now.
36 foot should be plenty long as I've gotten mine in shorter spots before.
So you already made the reservations? Did they require a deposit? Still no word on my day off. May have to take a "whether day".

My day off is in for approval and I did not make the reservations yet. Lets get the time off approval in the next day or two and I will make them for us.

Man. I'm going nuts in anticipation of all my trips planned for the summer. The day's don't go fast enough while you're waiting and yet fly by when you want them to last.

REALLY looking forward to the HS DeGray trip to meet up with ya Mike!

I think the clock is slow..........
