The campground we frequent out here in the west is on the Colorado river downstream from Hoover dam. We were there last weekend and it was 65. Last year we camped the week of Christmas and had the whole RV park to ourselves for three days then another camper came for the remaining few days.

We've been staying at Horseshoe Trails Camping Resort in North Georgia since 12/21. We're staying until January1, 2014. Weather was warm but raining the 1st few days but the temp has been steadily dropping, was only 39 Deg F today, dropping into the low 20's overnight the rest of our stay (hopefully not too much lower).

I'm RVing the week of Christmas in Southern Oregon Coast. The park I'm at will have a Christmas potluck.
This discussion has come up more than once here and also in real life. It's the spirt of camping that I relate to.

Right now I'm housed in a campground with a peek-a-boo ocean view and people are walking by and taking time out to say hello or Merry Christmas. Even with not cooking over a fire pit I am enjoying camping, campering or RVing during this 70* weather.

It's going to be in the low 80s for the next couple of days. So glad I keep a variety of clothes in the RV.
Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...

We're in Welaka Florida overlooking the St. John's river. Tonight it may get down in low 30's but for the past week we've had record highs in the low 80's and had fun swimming in the Atlantic on Sunday. Great weather.

ID:	44305We have been at Brackenridge Park in Edna, Texas since the 26th. Only two campers in this part of the park. An occasional one nighter pulls in. Good weather so far until last night when wind blew terribly all night.
