Lake George end of June....?????

The wife and I are thinking of heading over to Lake George the end of June for a weeks vacation with the kids. Has anyone been to this fine city that everyone is raving about? We were looking online and found this campground. http://www.lakegeorgervpark.com/ . Looks great for what we are used to.....swimming pools, fishing, playgrounds etc.

Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated.
