So, we've moved to the site that we are originally supposed to be in. A lot better than what we had to deal with last night, tho the next sites water post is right outside our door, and there's no space to put the awning out due to a tree (but at least the tree isn't constantly brushing against the side of the camper, like the one at the other so-called "site" was)

A couple of photos of our temporary "site", due to the screw up by the campground "management"

Those photos are with the rear bunk slide in !

Geez. Seems like they should close that site until the repairs are done.

Yes, and they said that they only put us in it because they messed up, but from talking to other campers others have been asked to move sites repeatedly and they've double booked sites. 30 mins after we moved sites they'd moved someone else into that site.
Seems like a nice campground, completely ruined by epic level mis-management

After moving site this morning we had an awesome, but tiring, day at Zion National Park. Did a couple of moderate hikes, and enjoyed the great outdoors.
The park was pretty busy, but not too bad.
I'll try to post a few photos tomorrow, when my phone battery isn't about to die

Planning to head to the north rim of the Grand Canyon tomorrow, then to Bryce Canyon on Sunday, will decide whether we want to revisit either Zion or Bryce on Monday, then going on a boat tour on Lake Powell on Tuesday

A little crowded but not as bad as i expected to be honest.
Temps very variable. High 70s to mid 80s mostly, but feels hotter in the canyons. Certainly need to take plenty of water for hikes. I've seen a few cyclists rising some of the long climbs, but I'd leave that for cooler temps.
Was quite a bit cooler at the Grand Canyon north rim yesterday. About 70 mid afternoon, tho felt warmer in the sun on a short hike, but then we had a very brief hail shower (which was fun when walking along a knife-edge with no shelter), and the temps then dropped to around 53 by 4:30 after the clouds had rolled back in
