Mobile, AL to northern MO

We are needing the best direct and smooth route from Mobile to northern Missouri pulling a 35' travel trailer.

Northern Missouri is pretty wide. East or West? Either way, you'll probably go up thru Memphis and into Mo on, I55. Not many options going thru Arkansas. I55 or come up thru Little Rock and go up on Hwy 65 into Branson and on to Springfield and on from there. Hwy 65 is hilly and curvey, but there is lots of MH and RV traffic coming up going to Branson. I work in Harrison, AR. Just south of Branson a ways. Small town but when the season starts we have our own version of bumper to bumper traffic. Luckily it's only about a mile or so. But can make it tough to go to lunch sometimes.

If you get to Springfield you can cut over to MO-13 and come up to Clinton, MO on 4 lane divided highway. Stop at Osceola Cheese. 13 north out of Clinton isn't that great but you could come over to I-49 (71 Highway). Of course this puts you into northwest MO.
