It seems changed as the Memorial Day crowd caused more and more trouble and problems.

There are respectful bikers. I haul mine everywhere I go. My bike is less annoying then golf carts constantly zipping up and down all day and all night long.

I leave the park at a low idle and am back early. Some pickups (diesels) are louder than my bike leaving the campground.

I am always respectful of quiet hours.

Never had any problems at Myrtle Beach in 10 Years

We've been going there for the past 10 years and have stayed at Ocean Lakes, Lakewood, Myrtle Beach Travel Park Campgrounds. Never had any problems at any of the campgrounds. We stay away from the South end in the evenings and as for traffic, it is a Tourist Attraction, so traffic comes with the territory. I don't Golf or ride a Motorcycle, but there are that class of Bike idiots that feel the lines on the road don't mean anything so they drive between cars on the lines and on occasion they misjudge the opening and then you have the wreck and the one that caused the accident and his buddies then want to fight. Police presence isn't too evident to control this type of behavior. It doesn't matter where you go there's always a group that makes it bad for everyone else. We had plans to go this year , but cancelled due to my back surgery I'm recovering from now. We'll be going next summer, Love the beach and Seafood, we just avoid the areas we'd prefer to avoid.

If I'm motorcycling, I'm not usually at a campground where there are trailers. If you see my bike on a trailer, call 911!

That said, having been run off the road several times and rearended once, I've figured out that relying on being seen just isn't enough. So now my bike is loud. Really loud. Gonna stay that way.

One of the youtube RV'ers I like to watch took a trip in his RV to see the eclipse. Got rearended on his scooter by some jackass not paying attention who "didn't see him". The young man is now dead and his girlfriend is in critical condition. I wonder if the driver was the same guy at the campground complaining about loud bikes?

You won't see my bike on trailer either, that's why I have a toyhauler.
