Dang, June is during the period most of us avoid Vegas due to heat, so plan for full hookup stops or areas where you can run a generator for a/c.
How you RV to a destination depends on how much time you have, how far you want to drive each day, and if you are a pre-planning or spur of the moment type of human.
We used to pre-plan every stop and make reservations. Works if you have limited time, but we passed so many interesting places on our way to get to the next predetermined stop in time.
Now, we have unlimited time, so we just start driving, usually with a distant destination as a goal. Liz, the navigator, looks for interesting routes, stops and places to camp while we are driving. She will call a few hours ahead for reservations if necessary. Usually works just fine, but if it doesn't, we always find an alternative. You will easily find numerous RV parks or places to camp along all of the main highway corridors. And if you venture off the main corridors, you can find some hidden gems. Google is a wonderful tool!
Happy camping and enjoy your trip.
