Was that item on the table with the straps and long surface in the "hospital drugs02" picture an older style cast?? Pretty cool looking toilets on how they just did their deed into a box of dirt and then probably went out and buried it...LOL That is old times for you.

Yep. Those were what they used for splints (casts). Some were adjustable while others weren't. There was even a set of splints for children there as they also treated "local" civilians at the hospital.
