New York Winery

Has any one tried the "Whitecliff Winery-Hudson Valley, New York?
A friend told me about it and have not camped in the area, but would like to plan a trip and wine tasting would be a good way to enjoy the trip.

Yes, I live in the area, we go on the wine trail all the time. A verity of wines on the trail. WhiteCliff by far, in my opinion, is the best. If you are going to camp, I suggest the KOA in Newburgh, Great place, they have a wine tasting room on site, with a lot of the local wines and it is centrally located for visiting a lot of the wineries. There is a lot of great history in that area if you like that too. West Point, FDR.

Also in the area is a lot of local breweries if you like different beers.

If you have any questions about the area, just ask.

Thank You. I have a friend who knows the owners of the Whitecliff Winery. So I think we will start planning a camping trip to the area soon.

The region along Cayuga Lake north of Ithaca is fantastic as well. Many options as far as varieties of wines being made.
