Oklahoma road closures on I-35

Hello everyone - I turned on the TV this am and found out that I-35 has a road closure probably till September with boulders that needed to be blown up with explosives due to the rain. Does anyone know where the closure is? Or what's the best way to find out its location? Because we will be leaving this Tuesday morning and I-35 is part of our planned route. We could take another it just wouldn't keep us on Interstate like this route does.

Thanks

Near Davis, OK. US 77 is the highway replaced when I-35 was built and it's still in good shape. Last I heard, all traffic was routed across the median to a stretch of one lane each direction.

Thank you for the responses. It seems like the delay shouldn't be very bad.

Again thanks

Depending where are comfrom I-49 S out KC Mo will bring you to Joplin go west on I-44 5 miles then I-49 goes south to I-40 go west on 69 S this will take you straight to Dallas. It's a great drive south of Fayetteville, AR got fantastic views thru Boston Mts.

The rock slide is in the Arbuckle Mountain range. North bound lane is move over to one lane of the south bound lanes. ODOT uses this same cog irrational when it is replacing sections of the Interstate highway system. Usually it only causes minor delays.

Thanks for replying. We will continue with our plans to take that route.

We will be coming up I-49 from La, then ok city, with a stop in Colorado. Then on into Wyoming / Montana.

Well we just passed thru the Davis area where we were routed into 1 lane both north and south. Piece of cake! Never had to drop below 60 and we had the Rv set on 65 anyway!

So thanks 😄to all who reduced my worries. I tried to find it online and couldn't do took a stab here. 😃
