Herk, nice pics. Sounds like you had great trip. I recall the B47's in the early 60s taking off out of Hunter AFB,Ga just over our barracks about every couple of hours. We RCAF types got placed in the less desirable barracks. LOL.
I was hoping you might have made some comments in another thread on the 150 Anniversary of the Gettysburg battle. Believe you made that trip earlier in the year.

Or just Goggle Map " Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ "
and zoom in and look at all the different planes.
You'll notice on the pics towards the end there are pieces of aircraft on those diamond shaped patches of ground. Those are B-52's that have been dismantled and are obliviously unflyable.

These bombers are part of the Stragetic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) and the Russians would take photos of them from satellites to ensure compliance with the SALT agreement.

Don't ask what the Russians gave up for their part in SALT

Nice photos from Arches NP Herk. The last photo is proof positive that men keep getting stronger as they age.

FYI Rawlins KOA was not the worst one we stayed at (how did we miss you!). Flatwoods KOA in WV took that hands down. VERY Narrow STEEP twisty roads, dirt/gravel unlevel sites, NO OTA TV or CABLE; very expensive.

Will upload dashcam video when I get a chance. No video coming in since dash cam was pointed at the space station...

Also for MPG watchers the results of the torture test are:

8080.6 miles with 4 western continental divide and 2 eastern continental divide crossings and the mountains of WV for a final.

11.76 MPG (cruise at 65 MPH where legal) at an average fuel cost of $4.01 per gallon (687 gallons - $2755.37)

I see two videos in that post. Both are working for me (Win7 and Firefox).

(edit) I'd guess that they do not show on the iPad as these videos require a flash player

Herk - is that a dash mount cam?

Worked for under Win7 (32bit) in Chrome v.29.

Herk

What days were you in Moab? Where did you stay?

We were just there over last weekend (13th-17th) and stay at Archview RV park.
