Sort of small world... I would have said hi had I known you were at Hill. I work on base and use the track twice a week just west of the FAMCamp. Guess I wasn't looking close enough, didn't notice any FR units.

Kind of a side note to the AMARG discussion 309 AMARG is an operating location at Davis Month and it is part of Hill as an operating location. Maybe a useless fact, but now you know...

Just watched Jimmy Stewart in 1955's "Strategic Air Command." Movie started out with him in B-36's, (he crashes in one and hurts his arm) then they got B-47's; they fly the whole B-47 air wing to Japan. As they get to Japan, his arm gives out - excitement ensues.

Great movie with some great airplane (B-36 and B-47) with most of the ground scenes filmed at the old SAC base in Fort Worth - Carswell.

The B-47 cockpit scenes were shot at the old SAC base in Riverside - March.

March has a complete B-47 cockpit there complete with a model of Jimmy Stewart.

We were the third one in facing the track.
My sticker was facing away though.
