My pet peeve is the vehicle manufacturers that put the fuel fill door on the passenger side of the vehicle. Creates lots of interesting moments at busy fuel stations. Gotta love those designers. 😁

When going to Copper Harbor, Mi. I think the nearest diesel is a mom & pop store 20 miles away that closes at 6:00pm. Otherwise the next diesel stop is 30-35 miles away. So plan ahead.

My pet peeve is after making a camp ground reservation well in advance. You arrive and find the space has not been taken care of. Leaves an inch deep, cigarette butts, beverage caps strewn about and fire pit full of trash. To me its like getting a motel room and finding the bed unmade and towels on the floor.

I just don't understand.

We have a couple of camping-related peeves:

-People who do NOT know how to start a fire and end up smoking out half of the camp ground for hours.

-People who leave barking dogs inside campers while they leave and do whatever....often for a VERY long time.

And then go inside and leave it smoking....

Well why don't you go show them how to start their fire? That way they won't bug you the whole weekend and you might make some new friends in the process.

Actually my pet peeve is people who leave their campsite with a burning fire.

I was sitting at my campfire this summer and my neighbors were having problems getting theirs going. They resorted to getting out their leaf blower. I didn't offer to assist because I could tell they were already feeling emasculated.

I agree with the barking dogs inside peeve...we see it a fair amount...I suppose these people think their nice ole Fido will just sleep the whole time they are gone!
