I have done your Day 25 - Revelstoke, BC to Jasper, AB (7 hr drive)
+ 3 day stop
also your Day 29 - Jasper, AB to Banff/Canmore, AB (6 hr drive)
+ 3 day stop ...... YOUR HOURS ARE CORRECT but do not allow for bad traffic, stopping to see the awesome sights on those roads The Jasper Banff road is the best sights I have ever seen in the mountain's at least you will be doing it twice once up to Jasper then back down to Banff
Enjoy the trip
Some campgrounds we've reserved but no deposit, most are one or two days deposit, a couple are paid in full.
On the off-chance that we have any incidents and get a delayed at all, then we'll likely just cut the next stop short. Of course hoping that doesn't happen, but the cost is the least concern.
We'll likely do quite a bit of the Jasper->Banff road both while stopped at Jasper, and when near Banff, but since we have time we might stop along the way on the main travel day too (depending on if there are places to stop with a fifth wheel).
All of our travel hours are estimates accounting for gas stops and rest-stops, but not additional stops (we mostly eat lunch from a cooler while travelling).
I haven't yet looked at the frequency of gas-stations en-route, but I'm hoping there are plenty (and will look in detail)
