Well, our plans for next week changed abruptly this morning now I'm searching for a place to go 7/28-8/1. We are looking at the NE Oklahoma; NW Arkansas; Branson, Mo areas. So far, the places I've called have electric but no water hook ups and I would prefer both (need 30 amp w/ water). Any suggestions in these areas would be very greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!
The Ozark Folk Center in NE Arkansas is a do not miss place to visit. There must be campgrounds around there. If you visit, say hi to Tina Wilcox, a good friend and head gardener there. Oh, and buy her book. (Shameless plug.)
Bull Shoals State Park, AR is nice! Within driving distance to Branson, Buffalo National River and other great sights and "goings-on" in Arkansas. Great place is you're a fisherperson - trout.
