Question on RV parks in or close to San Marcos Tx.

Looking to get to San Marcos or New Braunfels Tx In March. Anyone have comments on some nice RV parks in that area? Appreciate your inputs.

Pecan Park in San Marcos is nice. Right on the river.

We stayed here last year. Somewhat expensive but Passport America helped.

I stayed at Pecan Park 10 days ago for two nights while visiting my daughter who attends school at Texas State. Very nice staff, park seemed clean and well kept. I had space 120 which was next to the indoor heated pool, laundry facilities and shower. Shower and bathroom were very clean. There was access to the river and the last row of spots are situated along the river. There is a free breakfast served daily and the park was quiet. The premiere spots come with a chiminea for you to build a fire in and also come with a small gas grill. The park is a little tricky to find but your gps will get you there. Walmart and business district are about 5-10 minutes away. Lots of trees and very scenic. My spot had a concrete pad and full hookups including cable. There is a store and small playground for the kids. I paid around $60 per night for 6 people for the premiere site.

We were just at Hill Country Cottage and RV Resort | New Braunfels Premier Vacation Destination less than a month ago and its a beautiful park. We will be staying here again. Plus there is a lot to do in the general area ie San Antonio and New Braunsfels...

I'm currently at the san antonio ft sam houston rv park. Nice location...only bad thing it's the train that runs pretty much on the hour of every hour each night
