Racetrack camping

We will be going to the new F1 racetrack in Austin next year and are planning on camping at the track for the 3 days. Anyone do this type of camping? maybe at NASCAR races? Any tips suggestions would be appreciated.

Fill your water tank. Have a blue boy to empty tanks in and take to the dump site. Have several power adapters, bu don't count on having enough power to run the AC. Make sure you have enough propane for the fridge, and a lot of beer. Enjoy

the beer is of course a given. Are there normally elec hookups? I was expecting boondocking conditions, I will take a generator anyway to be safe since temps will be in triple digits. thanks

We dry camped at Phoenix International Raceway for a week. They had sewer and water trucks that would come around and you could pay to dump or refill water. We made it the whole week with what we arrived with. We took super short showers and used their toilet facilities when we could. Had our generator with us and had a great time.

Don't count on having any facilities for your RV especially at a new track like Austin. Although a lot of oval NASCAR tracks are used to RV crowds true road courses like Austin aren't usually set up for them. I'd bring a generator and plan to use the tracks bathrooms as much as possible as it's highly unlikely they'll have a dump station or power. I'm hoping to get down there next year for a few days on track with my race bike so let us know how it goes!
