Recommendation for Gatlinburg, TN
Taking the family on vacation to Gatlinburg in the TT. This will probably be the 3rd time out for us in any kind of camper. I'm looking for recommendations on a place with full hookup, level pads and nice folks. Being driving distance to attractions is a plus. Any ideas?

We stayed at Riveredge RV Park last year, and it was a good destination campground. Beware if you are thinking about a river side site.......it is more like a creek, and busy Rt. 441 is just on the other side from the campground.
Beware if you are approaching from Gatlinburg......the streets are busy and narrow, with the crown of the road throwing the top of the camper towards close telephone poles. My DD and SIL said I was missing some of those by inches. If I ever do that again, I will use the passing lane no matter how slow I am going.

My family and I have camped in several of the campgrounds in the Gatlinburg area.
For a family friendly destination you should check out River Plantation in Seveirville. Excellent prices, nice swimming area with 2 pools, basketball court, level pads, 10 minutes (in heavy traffic) from Dollywood, full hookups with cable/sewer.
