Recommended Printed Guides ?

We are gearing up for our first outing, probably late March or early April (once the freezing weather breaks). I am starting to build checklists and gather things we will need to "stock" our brand new Fiver.

I am interested in what you experienced RVers use in the way of printed campground guides. As well, I think I read a post that talked about a "road guide" that rated roads, noted terrain and grades, and might even list bridge/tunnel heights... but I can't remember where I read it.

I guess the request would be incomplete if I didn't ask for your favorite website for campground selection, too.

I carry 3 books in the truck while towing the camper.

The exit guide that Lou suggested.

An eastern mountain directory. (a western directory is available, also) I have this 1: Amazon.com: Mountain Directory East for Truckers, RV, and Motorhome Drivers (9780964680579): Richard Miller: Books

A Woodall's (or Trailer Life) campground directory. 1st 2 here: Amazon.com: campground directory 2011

We always carry "Woodalls" and the "Next Exit" as well as a general road atlas. We always have our GPS, Garmin 465t, but it is still nice to know where you should be going.

Oh yeah, I forgot about my road atlas. And I also have a collection of maps picked up from state welcome centers.

Trailer Life directory and rvparkreviews.com.

Website because I believe it offers better "unbiased" reviews from actual camping experiences.

Directory if website doesn't list a campground nearby where we are traveling.
