Rising Gas Prices

Anyone else notice that the price of gas is rising again?

Yep - they can and do go up as fast as they can and do come down.

Still not complaining, its less than $4.00. I have an app on my phone called gas buddy, notifies me when the prices are going up and how much the rise is expected to be, will usually jump up the next day.

Now if there was an app like that for the zombie apocalypse...

It will continue to rise as fracking has slowed to a crawl due to low crude prices. Refineries are on strike. Won't be long before SUMMER BLENDS will be required.
Enjoy it while you can.
Saudis are getting ready to temporarily flood the market to ensure USA is not a major factor. Iraq will be putting out 2 million barrels a day by year end. We see what fracking does. Weakens sub structure and caused earthquakes in places that NEVER had one prior. Like Global Warming, money lies to protect it's own interest.
Just enjoy the present. Airlines chose NOT to pass fuel savings on to consumers. GREED MY FRIEND. GREED LIVES IN AMERICA!
For every dollar: taxes, food, fuel and out of control med costs. Hey, that's just my 2 cents! Oh excuse me, my PENNY!! 😖

Oilsands production in Alberta at 25% capacity now, Fort MacMurray is like a ghost town. I guess the Keystone pipeline isn't needed today,

Our gas prices went up 10 cents overnight -- takes forever to go back down -- and think the $2 gas is history.

Prices going back up around here too. Started 2 weeks ago and now it's about 30 cents up for a gallon of diesel. I don't see them coming back down but I wish they would for our longer trips to TN. and FL. We'll see.

Oh without a doubt, the price of gas goes up when the snow disappears and we pull the trailer out of storage. Part I don't understand around this area anyway is gas is up .10/L in the morning and after lunch drops .12/L and it is done by every station at the same time, almost like they are on a conference call.

In Victorville, CA Costco is $3.29.9 for regular. Our increase is due in a large part to a hidden gas tax up to .70 per gallon to fund Gov. Moonbeam Brown's Bullet Train to nowhere. They won't tell us the exact tax increase, so we are left to guess. It was $2.11 about six weeks ago before they started raising the tax and refineries down for maintenance, refinery fire, summer blend, etc.

Spring break is probably a factor, we haven't noticed any dramatic rise around here. ...we're at $2.13 to $2.25 for regular

Someone has to pay the tax man. I love California and would move back in a minute except the tax's eats up a fix income. with all that it's a beautiful State. You can go from skiing to laying on the beach in 4 hrs. what other State can you do that in?..

More like 2 hours for my area. I'm about an hour away from the beach, mountains and maybe 90 minutes from the desert. I don't do cold well at all so I really like California.

Around here (NW Washington) it's gone from $1.99 to $2.89 at our local Safeway in less than 2 weeks. The Shell outside town on $20 is past $3 already.
