Spring break is probably a factor, we haven't noticed any dramatic rise around here. ...we're at $2.13 to $2.25 for regular

The $2+ per gallon is long gone here. I paid $3.55 per gallon last time I filled up and now its $3.69 a gallon.

Someone has to pay the tax man. I love California and would move back in a minute except the tax's eats up a fix income. with all that it's a beautiful State. You can go from skiing to laying on the beach in 4 hrs. what other State can you do that in?..

More like 2 hours for my area. I'm about an hour away from the beach, mountains and maybe 90 minutes from the desert. I don't do cold well at all so I really like California.

Around here (NW Washington) it's gone from $1.99 to $2.89 at our local Safeway in less than 2 weeks. The Shell outside town on $20 is past $3 already.
