Saw something different today

We were stopped at a flagging station for some construction on the ALCAN today and when the pilot truck was ready to take our string through he went back to the rear and brought the motorcycles to the front and took them through leading the pack.

Now I have worked many a road job and never seen this done before. Sure saves the bikers from eating rocks and dust through the project.

Courteous driver in that pilot truck. Probably rides or has ridden himself.

When we were on MC's in the Canadian Maritimes we were always moved to the front of the line for all the ferries we rode. We were usually stuffed in the corner of the bow. It was great, first on, first off.
