Smoky Mountain Trip

Getting all geared up for a trip to the Smoky Mountain National Park, (a favorite of ours) this coming weekend(5-26-07). We'll leave early morning on Saturday(4:00am) and should make it by 4:00pm. We like Elkmont campground because of its natural beauty and clsoe proximity to Gatlinburg etc. We will put our dry camping skills to work for only the second time in our RV but it should not be a big deal, after tenting for 20 years our lexingrton seems like a castle. We know many good spots in that park if anyone is interested chime in.

Enjoy your trip, take lots of pictures, and watch out for nuts on the road.

Thanks and thanks for the good info you gave me the other day about my leak etc. I went up there this morning and the job they did looks like it'll do the trick. I hope. If you ever drove South Louisiana roads you'd know where most the nuts live.
