Spending the week in Williamsburg for us. Right now I'm working most of the week but hopefully the wife and kids will be able to have fun!

Our daughter and her family are coming up from St. Louis to visit Amish country (and us). After that, we hit the road for the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC.

That sounds fun, too far for a week coming from Illinois!

Temps will be 80 to 85 degrees for the high and 55-60 for the low.
Winds from north at 8 mph.
Great fishing location and lots of seafood to eat locally.

I have been trying to figure out where to go. We will have our granddaughter (age 11) for the week. She wants to go "camping", but isn't very picky about location.

I was thinking maybe south Georgia. Weather is still a little chilly in Tennessee.

I'm at south padre island Tx, been here all week. I've been coming here for spring break since the 80's. The weather has been sunny, breezy and the temp mostly in the 60's and 70's. I really enjoy this time with my wife and kids, I wish I could freeze time and stay right here. Cheers!

If I can help with any SP recommendations/reviews in GA, let me know

Lol, Turbs this place has its downsides as well. Example, these bikini wearing women kept coming up to the fence on their way to the beach and asking me for beer. It was terrible. Being the generous guy that I am, I graciously shared my bounty. I kept running out of beer. Thank god the DW put a stop to it right away!

Rajin_Cajun,
Most of the Georgia state parks we have visited have been great. Many have cable and sewer and they are all well-kept. Just depends on the area you are traveling in. We liked Reed-Bingham and Ft. McCallister the best so far, but there are lots more on the list that we have not yet visited.

How about Inland Habour near Darien GA.? Has anyone been there? Might stop there for a night on the trip home from Florida.

They used to have drag boat races at Reed-Bingham outside Adel, GA. Very nice small park. Mind those gators!
