Summer travel plans

We will be doing a cross country trip this summer

Multi stop trip. First leg from Lincoln o Hemingway will be a quickly as possible and we will most likely not do any site seeing since the goal is to pickup my father-in-law so he can see the country (he might not be back again due to his age and health)

Lincoln CA - home base

Hemingway SC - first stop to pick up my father-in-law who is flying in from Italy to my brother-in-law's.

Virginia Beach VA - Father-in-law has a few friends there he'd like to visit. We will be parking at their house

Washington DC - site seeing trip to the nation’s capital. Staying at the Cherry Hill Park

Hersey PA - wife loves chocolate so we plan on staying there a few days. Staying at the Hersheypark Camping Resort

Niagara Falls - going to stay at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort in Canada

Krum TX - visit with my brother for a few days

Grand Canyon AZ (if time permits) – Stay at the GRAND CANYON RAILWAY RV PARK

If anyone has stayed at the RV resorts we have chosen, please provide feedback and suggestions.

Highly recommend the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park. They accept PassPort America, $20 a night vs 40. Nice, clean, walking distance to downtown. Some train noise but not a big deal. The NPS campground in the GC is a great location, older but works for most. Wildlife in park, buses around Park, location is great.

thanks for the tip.. we do plan on staying there on the way back. From what I read the PP America discount isn't applicable in the summer. We are considering going back for the Polar Express in December.
