We are thinking about taking a trip down to Branson on Friday after Thanksgiving--- if, it doesn't get nasty with that white stuff-- we really like the Christmas Shows and sites in Branson. Anybody have any suggestions on a CG-- we try a different
CG each time we go there.

Glad to see so many are camping for thanksgiving! We are all booked for the trip and I am gonna practice frying a turkey this weekend so I dont mess it up for everyone! We are pretty excited for the trip but it will be bitter sweet as it will be the official end of the camping season

We are at Matagorda Bay Nature and RV park in Texas for Thanksgiving this year. Our first road trip during the holiday. I'm absolutely going to love looking at these sunsets all week.

We're just going to Cedar Hill State Park here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Heading out today after work. The weather is going to be fantastic, the bike trails are dry, I picked up the Honey Baked ham yesterday...We're ready!

slide5r4fun,
We will be out there on Wednesday with 1 other camper. The weather will be great!!.If you see my XLR, stop by. My wife will have it lit up with a bunch of red led rope lights around the campsite..

We have been trying to get to Matagorda but have not made it yet. I waited too long to make reservations for Thanksgiving weekend so we will stay at home. We are so close to Matagorda we must make it a point to go there soon. Let us know what you think about the park. Your photo is really nice.

Thank you Eisbell. You will love this park. Concrete pads with gravel patios that have a picnic bench. Waterfront sites backup to the river. Walking paths around the park, fishing pier and just a short walk to the beach. All utilities. You can hear the waves through your windows. Very nice. It's our 2nd visit. We love it. Here are a few other pics I have so far. Make a point to come visit, you will love it.
