Turtling friendly Locations?

I'll be going on a cross- country trip soon and was wondering if there was a resource that IDs good turtling locations along a route (or an app similar to what SaniDumps does for dump sites. Does anyone know of such a resource?

There are various apps that talk to free and cheap camping. Many spots are simply retail establishments that don't have issue with you parking overnight.

I belong to a WalmartRVing group that keeps a comprehensive list (based on member reports) of Walmarts that do or do not allow overnight parking.

Turtling? That's a term I've never heard associated with RVs. I thought it meant being extremely defensive in a video game.

the OP may have a hybrid TT.
"turtling" is a hybrid term for sleeping overnight without deploying the drop-down canvas bed ends.
you sleep on the dinette or sofa, for a quick overnite stop.
it would help if the OP would have their trailer brand/model in their signature line.

We don't do it, but you can also "turtle" in a 5er, just don't put the slides out.

Glad I'm not the only one who didn't know the term. I appreciate the explanation too. Now I know whe have gone turtling!
