Wireless rear view cameras

Has anyone had any success with wireless rear view cameras for travel trailers?

I have one for my truck specifically used for hitching. The one and only issue I have is interference from my wireless network for my house. The trailer is parked in close vicinity of my house and the interference messes with the picture. Anytime I'm away camping it works great.
Putting the wireless camera on the back of a trailer would mean a further distance from the receiver in the truck. Keep that in mind. Look for a model that runs off a difference frequency or use a wired model. You may need to rig up a quick disconnect at the hitch for it.

Some of us have picked up a GE 45255 camera and monitor. While it's not water proof, unlike many other less expensive wireless cams, this one will easily reach from the back of a 40'FW to the cab of the TV. And it's great for monitoring the grandbabies when they are over.

I use a Voyager 5.6" digital wireless monitor, model WAOM562 and Voyager camera model WVCMS10B, came as a package. A little pricey but works well and has sound.

I installed a cheap rearview camera (45.00) on the 5th wheel to keep an eye on the golf cart I was hauling home. The cheapies can't transmit far enough to work. Sooo,I extended the wire to the xmtr with phone wire to the front closet and tied into the closet light for power. Worked fine. Mounted on the rear window valance inside and threw the wire on the slideout roof to the front.

I haven't installed it yet, but I ordered a Rear View Wireless Quad Monitor Camera System-RVS-7706123WQ-C. It comes with one camera and I can add up to three more in the future. Really good reviews and not a bad deal at $299.00. I also ordered the left and right side view cameras. Hopefully I will get all of this installed before our trip to Daytona in Febuary.
