IGGY, since you found me a place in Arizona that I settled into, now it's time to find you a place to check out in the U.P. of Michigan. The U.P. has lot to offer with Lake Superior shoreline and attractions along it. We have historic copper mining National Park in the Keweenaw, Pictured Rock National Park, plenty of water falls, light houses, Soo Locks, The Big Mac bridge. After crossing the bridge going south there is plenty of sites all the way to Goshen without big traffic areas.
If your coming up thru the Keweenaw I'm easy to find along the way on US 41 in Chassell. If not there I'll be at our family cottage on Lake Superior. PM me if your coming this way.
Ed

Probably go as many places as you all.
We need to think about which route to take out of Yellowstone.
I like the idea going thru Yellowstone and into the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole then finding a away east from there.
All we have to do it make it to Goshen by mid August and I expect 40 days will be plenty and hope in hooking up with others on their way to the FROG Rally.

We can use that as the primary route, and branch off to the places we want to see. Mt Rushmore, Big Horn and a few others but keep that as the main route as stated. We will have roughly 6 weeks to get to Goshen...Once we leave Yellowstone time is on our side. we will figure out what to do and have fun doing it....

You need to take the high road to see the things listed. I-80 is too far south and takes you through Nebraska. You also need to plan to totally avoid going through Chicago.

Loop thru the U.P. of Michigan and down lower Michigan to Goshen and miss ALL big city traffic. Plus it's an awesome tour!!!!
