06 Rockwood Roo

Never camped before, but really looking forward to it. We got a used 06 Rockwood Roo.

Very excited. No manual for this though. I'm starting to dig around. My first concern is towing. On the frame heading towards the hitch is a metal nub which is probably for an anti-sway bar. I don't see any anti-sway bar that came with it though.

Regardless, we'll figure it out.

Welcome! You'll do fine!
Go to the faq forum section there's lot to learn there.
manuals are very generic and almost not worth the read
None the less herk has one in the faq section.
have fun and post pics.
get a volt ohm meter if you don't have one.
camper in the back yard the first time and get to know your unit.

which model Roo do you have?
none of them come with the nub you mention. has to be something the previous owner added. if it was for a anti-sway bar, the previous owner probably kept it since it goes with the WDH and not the trailer.

pics would help.

not sure if you have a hybrid Roo or a rear hard-slide Roo.
so not sure which section to send you.

if it's a hybrid Roo, go to the Expandable/Hybrid section here at FRF. there's a Roo sub-section.

has to be a 233. the 233S didn't come out until 2010.
if it doesn't have a slideout but has 3 bunk ends, then it's a 233.

Congrats o your new-to-you Roo. Looks nice.

Many of your appliances (fridge, stove top, heater, air), systems (converter, water heater, water pump) and procedures are used across trailer brands and models so post any questions and you'll get plenty of help.

Thanks folks for the help.

A friend gave me a weight distribution hitch setup and it supports the friction sway control too. Now I just have to get one.

Camping tomorrow for the first time. Can't wait!
