Talking 1999 Cherokee, any info helpful.

Buying a 1999 Cherokee 29ft. Picking up this week. Anyone know where I can get an owners manual? Dealer says it's 29ft but looks longer.

Owners manuals are very generic and are not model specific, there is basically one owners manul for all models it can be downloaded from forest river website I believe.

Like Dan says, the owners manual is not much help, rather a collection of various booklets including manuals from the fridge, wheels, axles, furnace, etc. They outdate rather quickly and you can probably find more useful info from the internet web sites for the particular component, you may find some of the companies are out of business or taken over by other companies over the past 12 yrs.

There are many here with helpful information with problems and issues that may arise, and makes this forum a useful resource when you encounter problems.

If it helps, my trailer is a 23 ft Wildwood, and my tape measure covers the entire front to back of the trailer houseing unit, not the bumper and not the tongue/hitch

hey there

Thanks to everyone for the wholehearted welcome. Wife and I used to have a Shasta 21ft, but alas, all things come to an end. Just bought 29 ft Cherokee. Lots of room, and very comfortable. And everything works. Dealer very helpful. This will be first weekend with it in the woods.
