1st time 5ver & Sabre quality
Brand new to this forum so pls pardon the mistakes if any.
In the process of making a deal for a 2013 sabre silhouette 290reud comparable to the 290refd. Looking for any information good or bad. My TV is a 2005 Ram 3500 srw long box with a 18000 Reese hitch. The price is very good did a lot of homework.

to the forum! Lots of great info on here from some really great members. You'll find answers to almost everything so, don't be afraid to ask.
You might want to copy & paste your inquiry in the Sabre sub-forum. Lots of Sabre owners there to get you the answers you need.

Welcome to the forum. I purchased a 2011 Silhouette 290RES and it has been great so far. The two problems that I had were the Dometic 300 toilet and kitchen faucet. Both were under warranty however I replaced them myself with Aqua Magic and Moen.
Other suggestions are a Progressive Industries EMS and when the time comes upgrade your tires, my preference are Maxxis E rated.
Enjoy and have fun.

Can't speak to the model that you are looking at, but we do have a 2012 32bhts and absolutely love it. We've had very few problems with it over the last 5 years that we've owned it. The biggest problem we had was a leak in the shower that took forever to figure out - a little caulk in exactly the right place fixed the problem.
We've always thought that Sabres were a great value.
Good luck with yours. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Hello, congrats on your new rig, and welcome from northern Arizona!
Be sure to do a thorough PDI when you pick it up and use your video on your camera or tablet when doing the PDI; great for when you forget what the guy told you or showed you! Happy Trails!!

We have a 2013 Sabre 34REQS-6 and it's been a great camper. Only 2 problems we had were a shade string snap probably because it was too tight and the kitchen faucet handle was loose due to a stripped set screw. Both were taken care of by our dealer.
