Hi out there! Here in Bismarck, ND the winter has been far more pleasant than in most of the country. Nevertheless my wife, our Papillion (Rufus) and our 2005 39' Tsunami (QS) are raring to hit the trail on a few outings this summer.
We bought this motorhome new in 2006 (carryover '05 model), and after a few early bugs got ironed out, we've loved it ever since. Forest River really put their best foot forward when they created the Tsunami. I'd love to hear from other owners (there are only about 112 of us total!) to see where our brethren motorhomes reside. Maybe a little Tsunami rally someday?
As for personal stuff, I'm a retired chemical engineer - mostly chemical and energy related experience. Clean coal conversion was my most gratifying encounter. It really can be done. Now reside on a pleasant 5-acre plot near the Missouri River with abundant wildlife everywhere around and lots of peace and quiet. But only a few miles out of town!
My wife and I love camping/motorhome-style; and particularly enjoy the many wonderful conversations at campgrounds wherever we go.
Hope to hear from a few of you in due course, and please let me know if the Tsunami get together has any charm to anyone! It's certainly not a new concept, and who knows? Could be fun!
