2011 40ft Cedar Creek - need help

I just bought an RV and do not have a clue how they work.
Where do I buy the ceiling light bulbs 12 volt 20 watts?
When I turn on any light switch an alarm goes off. The RV is plugged in to a power outlet.

Thanks

I am unsure about the alarm problem but if you take one of the bulbs to an auto parts store they should have them if not the go to any local RV parts store.

Any Most any Ace hardware, Lowes, Home Depot, RV parts dealer,
Auto Parts store, E-Bay.

If the alarm is going off when you turn on your light it may be that
the battery in your RV is going bad and need either charged or
replaced.

Even if your RV is plugged into a power out the battery may need
to be charged or as I said replace. Let it set over night plugged
in, if the alarm still goes off then replace your main battery to
your RV

Welcome to the wonderful world of camping

I am not sure where the alarm is coming from but every light switch sets it off if turned on. I thought being plugged in meant the whole RV works off power. I have a lot to learn.
I will check the battery.
Thanks again

Under normal conditions your are correct in that everything should work off shore power, the alarm throws that right out into the middle of the freeway.

When the alarm goes off is there a blinking light on the fuse panel or in the control panel?

If the converter was not putting out power, then the light being on might reduce voltage enough to cause the lp leak detector to sound off. Thats my best guess...

Sounds like the LP detector going off. Might check to see if it is defective. Later RJD
