2013 Windjammer 3008W

Picking up our Windjammer on Monday at Hilmerson RV, Little Falls, Mn. Traded in our 2505 Hi-Lo, before that we had a Trailmanor. Looking forward to the extra room. Have some reservations about the sofa that pulls out to an air bed. We are from Northwestern Ontario, just 40 miles from the Minnesota border.

Welcome and congratulations on your new Windjammer. We recently traded our Mountaineer with a jack knife sofa for a Flagstaff V-Lite with the air mattress sofa. We too had some reservations about the air mattress set up but so far have been much happier with it. My oldest daughter has slept on both. She is 18 weeks pregnant and slept on the air mattress with a 1.5 inch memory foam topper for 5 nights last week and said she definitely prefers the air mattress. She said it even slept better than her bed at home! Besides that, the air mattress will sleep more than one, which is all the jack knife will realistically sleep. We did have a leak in ours the first time we used it but took it back to the dealer and they replaced it under warranty with no problem.

Hope this helps ease your reservations! Enjoy that new camper.

Congrats on the 'Jammer! We have used our air mattress as well and it works really well. Just be sure to use the zippered pouch for storage to help prevent leaks.

Congratulations on the Windjammer! Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours. So far the few times we have had to use the air mattress our guests seem okay with it.

Got the Windjammer Home, Hilmerson RV, Little Falls, Mn. had it ready to go. Just had to transfer the equilizer hitch over from our Hi Lo to the WJ. We avoided the tornado warnings on the way home. Got to Bimjdji, Mn. and the town was in darkness, Thanks to a couple good samaritans, they escorted us to a campground. Upon arrival, it was decimated, trees down everywhere, leaves and branches everywhere. One TT had a big oak tree land on the middle of it. The storm was over, we found an empty spot and set up. We didn't know about the electrical cord in the outside storage under the bed nor the water hose in the pail they gave us, so no water or electricity. Didn't have electricity, so could not blow up the air mattress, there were no batteries for the non electrical pump. My wife and daughter slept on the bed, I slept on the recliner. Anyway we used the air mattress last night, not to bad. When I got to Hilmersons, the Hi-Lo was at 11.1mpg, on the way back with the WJ, it was 9.9mpg, 300 miles each way. Not that big a difference pulling an extra ton.

Welcome and congrats on your new TT. We made the switch to our V-Lite 30WRKSS a month ago and couldn't be happier. Happy camping.
