2014 XLR 27HFS - fuel station

Anybody to how to fill or have the fuel tank repaired on your camper? I am unable to fill the tank at gas stations because it spills all over the ground. The only way to fill it is by shoving a long hose into the tank and trickling gas down it for eternity. It's been suggested by forest river to lower the tank an 1-1/2 to correct this but that doesn't make any sense to me. All that needs to done is turn the fuel fill up so it doesn't spill.

Welcome from the central coast of California

I am guessing it in the fill neck. Take it back to FR warrantee work.

This problem still hasn't been corrected after dealing with Forest River since September 2013. They have horrendous ideas to fix the situation like cutting holes in the floor and side to install a new gas fill, while leaving the old gas fill still there. I would also have to add a metal box that would stick out 16" from the wall which wouldn't allow me to put my 4 wheelers in a "toy hauler". Completely awful service and nobody has helped me yet after numerous attempts over several months.

How miserable. How high have you complained up the management chain?
