It won't void the warranty. The slide has to come in before you can drive anywhere for service.

Thanks everyone for the info. We will try pushing it in in the AM when we have daylight. Next problem is the nearest dealership is booking into October! Yikes!

We brought ours to Camping World and it was done in ten minutes. Just had it go out two months ago, so obviously didn't have warranty anymore. Good luck!

Update

Wow! Someone please wake me up! Am I asking too much of the system? I heard horror stories about MHs but really didn't think it would happen so soon as we never had a problem with our StarCraft TT.

Update on slide out. We spoke with Mike - warranty manager at FR, trouble shot per his direction and it turned out that one of the motors needs replacing. Said would ship out replacement last Thursday. Still haven't seen it.

BUT also can't get attention of DLR who wants to book an apt for mid Oct for repair! What? We can't drive it. Roving tech booked too busy. Missing my old dlr.

Needless to say we had planned on a trip for the end of this weekend b-4 school starts. Not happening.

If you have a Camping World nearby or any dealer who will honor Forest River warranty work, they should be able to handle it. Just make sure they run it by Forest River before doing any work.
