2400W wall slide

We were scheduled to take delivery of a new Sunseeker 2400W MBS last Saturday in Dayton, Oh. About an hour into the delivery, I noticed the wall rails were made of app 3/4" aluminum mounted by 4 screws to the outside edge of the wall. Others I had seen had rails secured all the way down the wall. I was apprehensive and the tech was also, having looked at the way the rails torqued in opposite direction from top to bottom. When I asked the senior owner about this, he went off like cheap fireworks. My wife got mad and we drove off with our refund. I don't want to turn away from this model and would like others opinion on this. Looking to do extended summers in Canada and want piece of mind while we are there. Appreciate all the info I'm picking up from this forum. I believe the MBS will be the new work horse.

its a "power gear" slideout, I guess it was recently bought from Lippert. I personally like the mechanism better then the orig Lippert one (which I had in my previous MH, a Solera 24R) and so far it works perfect. I looks its more sturdy and easier to service especially in case of a malfunction.
And I love this coach and floorplan!
I think you get more answers posting this in the MBS forum!
