2503s

Just getting my feet wet after many years away from camping. Plan on spending summers in the Midwest and taking trips to where ever we want. Retired and have a lot of time now. Have a 2011 Sierra extra cab with a 5.3 and tow package. Thinking very strongly on the 2503S Mini Lite. Does everyone who has one use a stabilization system? What about mirror extensions? Will have a learning curve on the forum, so please bear along. Thanks Al

when you say "stabilization system, do you mean a Weight Distributing Hitch? i'll assume you do. you need to look at the 2503S's hitch weight and compare it to what it says in the truck's owner's manual regarding the use of a WDH. also, the WDH needs to have built-in sway control or add-on anti sway bars.

What about mirror extensions?
unless your truck has towing mirrors, then yes, you'll need towing mirrors

I used McKesh mirrors for years. Not cheap but then you can't put a price on safety.
